A New Partner at Parallax

4th June, 2012

AGDA Members Parallax are extremely pleased to announce Kellie Campbell-Illingworth (AGDA SA President/Young Guns 8) has been made a partner. Kellie was straight out of university back in 2003 when she became Parallax’s first employee. Her contribution to the company has been immeasurable since then. Among many projects, Kellie has worked on the Hardy’s rebrand and been lead designer on Robinson’s, Tilly Devine, Henry’s Drive Vignerons and Scrubby Rise for Wirra Wirra.

ADC Young Gun Kellie Campbell-Illingworth (YG8) will also be appearing @ the Apple Store, Bondi on August 22, 2012.

After receiving Best Graduate awards from the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) and the Design Institute of Australia (DIA), Kellie joined Parallax Design. Combating thoughts of no rhyme or reason with ideas one remembers is what makes Kellie tick. Over the past nine years she has created brand identities, environmental graphics and packaging solutions, particularly in the wine industry. Career highs have been at the AGDA awards, judge’s choice–TDC Typography32, ADC silver cube 2011 and first runner up in the QANTAS Spirit of Youth Awards this year. Kellie enjoys working with peers in promoting the value of design and giving back to the industry that has supported her throughout her career. She is current AGDA National councillor and President of the SA Chapter.

Two years ago Kellie hyphenated her name and was selected in the class of Young Guns 8. She will share her journey from Adelaide to New York and highlight why she believes no matter where you work; how old you are; projects big or small–anything is possible.
