Winning and getting away with it!

Advertising and marketing cigarettes is banned in most countries and in particular in sports. So, how did Marlborough get away with sponsoring the Ferrari Team in Formula 1?

All too interesting, don't you think? I love the fact the tobacco giant paid $1billion for the privilege to be associated with Ferrari. I noticed how Fernando Aloso displayed with pride and pointed to the logo on his lapel when he got out of his machine after winning at the inaugural F1 Race in Korea yesterday!
From his point of view, it was all about the branding - and getting away with displaying a logo that is banned!
