Online Reputation
13th June, 2012 by Steven Waldberg
We are finding that more and more people are now worried about what people are saying about them online.
We had a doctor ( who we do design work for ) call us in a panic last week wanting an article removed from the front page of google that was written by a patient. Obviously we cant delete the article but what we can do is to ensure that the article is so far away from is searched name that it almost becomes irrelevant.
This is a real concern moving forward when a person can publish content that can be hurtful or malicious about a business, company or professional person.
What you have to do is be vigilant about this and constantly google your name or business and see what is said about you.
This has given rise to a whole new business called Online Reputation management Help and my guess is that we will see more and more of this in the future.
As a graphic design studio hopping mad designs is also very concerned about our online rep and we are constantly checking the virtual environment to see what is said about us on blogs, article submission sites or even in the printed press.

We are constantly seeking design information to capture the interests of a wider audience. Blog about anything that provokes discussion, catches your eye, will give other designers a kick.
Since this is a community site, please note that when submitting articles for publication on this site we accept submissions that are not deemed to be advertorial, self-promotional, commercially or sponsorship driven.
