Make My Day .. or how to get out of the office ...
15th September, 2008 by Astrid Wehling
Hi all,
A good friend of mine has just started up a new on-line business last week.
The site looks fantastic and I really want to help her make it a success, hence this posting.
The site, www.mamyda.com (pron, ma-mee-da and short for Make My Day) allows you to actually meet and socialise (yes, in the real world) with like-minded people in your area. It is not a dating or social networking site - the focus is on personally listed activities - which you can create, search or join.
Through MaMyDa, users can find like-minded people with common interests or simply things to do in their area. MaMyDa is all about building communities. It is an online site which aims to bring people together offline.
I have already been to three events and it was fun to meet new people.
They want to build members and content quickly, hence I am asking all my contacts to join the site. There is also a great incentive programme for those who invite others to join and/or create activities.
They are very eager to get feedback so you can either call them (yes, a company you can actually get through to the CEO) or email them.
Check it out.
Cheers
Astrid
PS: they just contaced me and announced that they offer Free Premium Lifetime Membership to anyone who signs up by 20 September with code FRE0007SOF.
