Creative professional development - suggestions wanted
9th May, 2010 by Tess McCabe
Hi! I'm a graphic designer (mostly print) with almost 10 years experience. Lately I've been craving professional development that gives me the opportunity to be highly creative and experimental in answering a brief (less restrictions and client input).
A short intensive course (2 to 4 weeks) specialising in typography or print design, with a focus on being experimental would be ideal. Overseas is fine (esp. Europe/London/NYC).
Does anyone know of any education institutions/private colleges that offer short intensive courses for working designers?
Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is up your alley, but the Vitra Boisbuchet Workshop series are pretty outstanding (especially cross disciplinary interaction) http://www.boisbuchet.org/
