The debate is out there: should I blog or should I not?
Who has the times these days.
If you are like me, I had a great day out with the family yesterday on Father's day. In the corridors of our office I passed a colleague and we exchanged hellos and greeting etc:
Me: How you going? How was the weekend?
Colleague: not to bad - how was yours?
Me: Oh! It was awesome. Saturday was just a brilliant start to Spring and yesterday was just great with Father's day and all... ...it was great. How was your father's day?
Colleague: well, I am not a father - yet.
Me: but didn't you spend it with your father?
Colleague: I don't have a father.
I immediately withdrew as I could see this person may have had trouble somehow in this area.
Nevertheless - we continued to exchange pleasantries and we kicked up a conversation on time or the lack-of time to get on-line to do some personal facebooking, twitering, and general blogging (note spelling here).
The question is: when do we find time to socialise on the social network platform?
When do we find time for our families?
When do we find time to ourselves?
Should I be blogging at all? I have emails to read, pages to look at, googling to do and there is Wikipedia to access. I have people to text and family to call. Meetings to go to and other phone calls to make.
I need a break just from the social media.
I need a cup of tea now.
So, why am I blogging at all I wonder? Aghhhh that's right... ...it was to let you know that we have our very own social media page for you to go to:
