Hi
Is anyone using the Adobe subscription offer for the Creative Suite yet?
I'm interested in the pros and cons.
Thanks
Astrid

If you do the maths the subscription costs about the same as buying upgrades (assuming new versions are released every 18 months). You can also cancel the subscription at any time and resubscribe later...the suite is deactivated so you can't use it but if you're on holiday for a month or more why pay for something you don't need.
Cons might be there is no GST on the monthly subscription fee so you can't claim any GST back and depending on your bank you may be hit with an international transaction fee each month (you need a visa/credit card to subscribe). I also feel a bit trapped now...I've paid out quite a bit but I don't actually own the software outright and I have to keep paying. You can buy the full version from Adobe after 12 months but the discount offered isn't enough considering how much you've paid over that time.
I hope this is of some help.

sorry I reply so late, I somehow didn't get info on a reply (have to check my settings here)
I am subscribing now, the pros were really tempting, esp the upgrades for free and that you can use the CS on 2 computers . Will see how it goes.
Thanks a lot.
